Although we always try our best to prevent injuries by stretching, warming up, and cooling down, they cannot always be prevented. Aches and pains are common when training, but if something is bothering you for more than two days or is severely hindering your running, you should always tell coach.
Another great resource we have for treating injuries is Brownstone Physical Therapy. An athletic trainer from Brownstone comes to our school regularly. You can either see the trainer when he or she comes to the school or go to Brownstone's office in Macedon where your first visit is free. They are located in West Wayne Plaza at the opposite end of where Ames used to be (See map below for location of West Wayne Plaza). I have been there before along with other members from our team and have only heard great things about them.
